Free football-themed resources to help with home schooling children

Keep the kids informed and entertained with decent football content

With everyone adjusting to the government’s measures to deal with coronavirus we wanted to help. As a football magazine, we weren’t sure what we could do, other than a distraction. However, we also thought we could offer something more practical for the hundreds of thousands of football-mad children who have no matches and now need to be schooled at home.

That’s why we’ve dug out a selection of features from Kickaround, our children’s football magazine that closed in September 2019, and made them available to download for free. We thought some features could be used as resources for reading or writing exercises, while others offer a bit of language, geography, history or maths. If nothing else, they may be a good way of keeping the kids entertained for a while. They were written for the age bracket of 7-13.

Please download them, print them off, put them on tablets, whatever you want – they are completely free, we’d just be happy to see them being used and enjoyed again. Most importantly, stay safe everyone.
