The two sets of supporters will march to their final match of the League Two season to show their anger at the people running their clubs

4 May ~ Blackpool and Leyton Orient fans will come together before their match on Saturday to protest against some of the game’s most unpopular owners.

In a repeat of the events before the reverse match last November, the two sets of supporters will unite to show their unhappiness at the way their clubs are being run, as well as highlight their anger towards the football authorities for allowing the situation to develop.

Taking place on the final day of the League Two season, the protest will be split into three parts: the march, the alternative match and the aftershow.

Supporters are asked to begin congregating from 3.30pm at Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the 4pm march before heading towards the West Stand at Bloomfield Road in time for the 5.30pm kick-off.

Following the demonstration at Bloomfield Road at 5.30pm, buses will take supporters to The Mechanics ground, home of AFC Blackpool. A Clubs-in-Crisis XI will take on a Blackpool XI with the match kicking off at 6.30pm.

From 8pm there will be a social event held at The Shovels pub which is across the road from AFC Blackpool. Organisers say there will be a "fine blend of Northern Soul music to get merry to”.

All supporters are welcome to attend the day of action on Saturday. Banners and placards are also welcome. You can follow the action on the day via the #FansUnited and #JD3 hashtags on Twitter.
