Supporters Trust need help making up venue’s £200,000 shortfall
3 April ~ Wrexham Supporters Trust have voted overwhelmingly in favour of their club taking back control of their Racecourse Ground. The club, who are owned by the fans, will take over the running of the stadium from Glyndwr University on a 99-year lease, after 777 members voted in favour of the move and only 11 were against. There is currently a £200,000 shortfall in the stadium’s income, which supporters are being asked for help to make up until the club can turn the stadium into a profitable venue by 2019. You can see full details of the vote and how the Wrexham Supporters Trust plan to achieve this here.
