Futbolgrad analyse opposing sides of the argument

As Saul Pope wrote in WSC 348, those under consideration include German defensive-midfielder Roman Neustädter and Lokomotiv Moscow’s Brazilian goalkeeper Guilherme. However, the issue is causing a debate throughout Russia about which players should play for the national team, or whether naturalisation should be accepted at all. Saul has recently looked at the opinions of these players’ potential international team-mates, revealing that anyone who has naturalised will be viewed with skepticism by many colleagues.
