14 June ~ Ghana will play against the US tonight for the third World Cup in a row. Having previously only ever met twice in 1983, the teams were drawn in the same group in 2006 before playing in the second round in 2010. Ghana have won all previous clashes, with both World Cup matches ending 2-1. In 2010 Kevin-Prince Boateng gave Ghana the lead before Landon Donovan levelled from the penalty spot. An extra-time goal from Asamoah Gyan made Ghana only the third African team to reach the World Cup quarter finals.
