Coalition Against Roland Duchatelet want swift end to chaos at The Valley

icon nofans14 January ~ Groups of Charlton fans campaigning against owner Roland Duchatelet have come together to form the new Coalition Against Roland Duchatelet. Supporters from the Anti Roland Demos, Spell It Out and Voice of the Valley, all of whom have organised protests in recent weeks, have been joined by members of the Charlton Life message board and Charlton Fans Protest Fund to work under the new banner to find a swift and positive end to the club’s current crisis.

Having sacked interim head coach Karel Fraeye following a 5-0 defeat to Huddersfield on Tuesday, Charlton are now reportedly seeking a British manager, having seemingly backed down in the wake of anger at the imminent appointment of Nebojsa Vignjevic who, like Duchatelet’s last four appointments, has no previous experience of managing in British football. The Voice of the Valley fanzine have more details of the chaotic goings on at Charlton here.
