Supporters Direct Scotland involved in move to increase supporter involvement

icon nofans26 November ~ The Scottish government have launched a consultation on supporter involvement and ownership of football clubs. Undertaken with the help of Supporters Direct Scotland, the Scottish FA, the SPFL and sportScotland, the government are looking for a wide range of views on fans’ right to influence, govern, bid and buy their clubs. The move comes after a parliamentary debate on the topic earlier this year demonstrated unanimous support for fans playing an active role in the running of their clubs.
