The match was won by the home side by 1-0 and was watched by a crowd of 333. Canvey Island play at their home matches at The Frost Financial Stadium or Park Lane. The ground is a few feet below sea level, one of the only football stadiums in the UK to be as such. The ground has a capacity of over 4,500 and the stadium has reached its capacity on one occasion, when the team faced Northampton Town in the FA Cup in 2001.
