Lord Ian Livingston is a non-executive director at the club

icon moneyman1 November ~ Celtic fans have launched a petition to remove one of their directors, after he voted in favour of cutting tax credits in the House of Lords. Nearly 8,000 people have now signed the petition which calls for the club to cut its ties with Lord Ian Livingston, a non-executive member of the board. Those who set up the campaign pointed out that Celtic were “formed to help feed the poor in the east end of Glasgow”, before going on: “This work continues today with the ongoing efforts of the Celtic Foundation. We find it hypocritical that Lord Livingston is considered a part of this club and wish him to be removed from the board of directors.” You can see more information and sign the petition here.
