Since 2012 he has been chairman of the club and using his EuroMillions winning to fund their return to the Football League. However, that era of the club has now closed, with the news that Scadding has handed over his shareholding in the club to the Newport County AFC Supporters Trust. Ian King, at Twohundredpercent, has looked at Newport’s turbulent life and how they will tackle their various challenges under fan ownership.
