Eighth European Football Fans Congress held at start of July

icon fansconfused7 July ~ More than 250 fans representatives from 30 countries in Europe and beyond met at the eighth European Football Fans Congress in Belfast at the start of July. There was a panel discussion about the current state of FIFA, which included former FIFA vice-president Jim Boyce, and representatives from UEFA were also present to talk about sanctions. Debates ranged across many common issues for fans all across Europe, including mass punishments, stadium bans, the fight against discrimination and the Euro 2016 fans’ embassies.
