Football clubs make up eight of top ten around globe

icon money131 May ~ Paris Saint-Germain are now the best-paid team in world sport according to the Global Sports Salary Survey, carried out by Sporting Intelligence. It has been calculated that PSG players are paid on average £5.3 million per year or just over £101,000 a week. Real Madrid have risen from fourth to second, with an average salary of £5.04m while Manchester City have dropped from top to third, fractionally behind Real. Barcelona are fourth, with the LA Dodgers and New York Yankees baseball teams the the only non-footballing club in the top five. You can read the full survey here.
