Edinburgh City take on city rivals Spartans at the Commonwealth Stadium, Meadowbank in a Scottish Lowland League match which was won by the hosts by 2-0. Edinburgh City were the 2014-15 league champions and progressed to a play-off to decide whether there would be a club promoted to the Scottish League for the first time in its history. The Commonwealth Stadium hosted Scottish League matches between 1974-95 when Meadowbank Thistle played there.
