Andy Higgins’ campaign will “put football first”

icon blackpoolaway19 March ~ Independent candidate and Blackpool fan Andy Higgins is standing in the 2015 General Election for the constituency of Blackpool South. Without a published manifesto, Higgins’ campaign is based on the philosophy that the club’s success promotes Blackpool and boosts business in the town. Higgins has been backed by the Blackpool Supporters' Trust and has raised £1,320 through Crowdfunder to pay for his campaign. In the run up to the election on Thursday, May 7, Higgins is embarking on a tour of community centres and pubs throughout the 12 wards of Blackpool South. To find out more about the campaign, click here.
