Mental Health Football UK

MHFUK9 March ~ Mental Health Football UK are a group who are trying to bring together professionals from within both the football and mental health sectors to benefit people who are experience poor mental health. Their aim is to use football as a therapy either during the recovery process or as part of a long-term treatment plan as well as promote new and established community-based initiatives. They are hoping to set up tournaments during the next two summers which will help to raise the profile of their work and are currently developing a website. For now they can be found on Facebook, under “Mental Health Football UK”, and on Twitter at @soccer_4_all.
