icon groundbuy19 February ~ Since Hereford United were wound up in the High Court last December, supporters and businessmen have been working alongside the Hereford United Supporters Trust to form a phoenix club. Today is the deadline for the group’s Expression of Interest, which they will be sending to Herefordshire Council in the hope of securing a lease for the new club, which would allow them to use Edgar Street from the start of 2015-16 season. John Hale, who is leading the group of local businessmen putting the proposal together, recently released an open letter detailing their plans which can be read here.
