THE HALF DECENT FOOTBALL MAGAZINE

Sweden6004 December ~ Since 2008 Mats Tallkvist has been touring his home country of Sweden taking photos of stadiums and their surrounding areas. Often the tiny grounds come with impressive backdrops or interesting configurations and he has produced a 2015 calendar with some of his best photos. The picture to the left is of the Belganets Sports Park, which dates back to the 1930s and was built with stones from the Braknean beaches. It is situated in the small, picturesque village of Belganets. You can see more of Mats’ photography on idrottsplats.se.
