11 May ~ Manchester City host West Ham United in the final Premier League match of the season today knowing a point will be enough (barring a huge Liverpool victory over Newcastle United) to win the title. In 1968 City travelled to Newcastle level on points with Manchester United at the top of the table, eventually winning 4-3 to claim their second League title.
