THE HALF DECENT FOOTBALL MAGAZINE

31 January ~ Queens Park Rangers host Burnley this weekend with both teams battling for second position in the Championship table. Surely QPR would be delighted to repeat the score of their clash in 1979. Back then, with both teams in the old Division Two, Rangers won 7-0 and Burnley eventually got relegated at the end of the season. Burnley goalkeeper Billy O'Rourke was making his debut and left the pitch in tears, though the Burnley Express named him man of the match.
