THE HALF DECENT FOOTBALL MAGAZINE

24 January ~ Stoke City visit Chelsea this weekend in the FA Cup fourth round. Back in 1972, both teams starred in the League Cup final, the Blues going into the match as strong favourites. Terry Conroy gave Stoke an early lead and, despite an equaliser by Peter Osgood, George Eastham managed to put Stoke ahead again in the second half. It remains the only major trophy in the club's history. Longer full-colour highlights are available here.
