icon racism11 November ~ Following the recent abuse of Yaya Touré by CSKA Moscow fans, Russian football's problem with racism is again coming under scrutiny. Recently a Saint Petersburg football website asked their Twitter followers the question "How would you react to a dark-skinned footballer playing for Zenit St Petersburg?". WSC contributor Saul Pope has translated the replies on his blog, showing a sizeable number of fans with a negative reaction to the idea and their various reasons, though there are some at least who react positively.
