icon manager craziness8 October ~ Gus Poyet has been named as the new manager of Sunderland today, after being dismissed by Brighton in June. The Uruguayan divided opinion among Seagulls supporters, despite leading them  to promotion from League One and to the Championship play-offs with an impressive-looking win rate of 44 per cent. The Not Worth That blog argues that the team Poyet built filled the club's new ground and gave them an identity they could be proud of, yet his courting of vacancies at other clubs and general press presence was always hard for some fans to accept.
