Tracks improving reputation of the sport

icon hopepowell22 September ~ Sweden's hosting of the 2013 Women's European Championship was widely hailed as a success. Despite the host nation going out to eventual champions Germany in the semi-finals, attendances and enthusiasm at the matches were high, with the good quality on show surprising many new viewers. Before the competition Swedish TV ran a three-part documentary on the struggles of the women's game since the 1960s, including a focus on former US and current Sweden coach Pia Sundhage's influence. It's called The Other Sport.
