THE HALF DECENT FOOTBALL MAGAZINE

From WSC 216

wsc21618 June ~ Joe Kinnear has announced that he will return to Newcastle United as director of football, four years after a heart attack ended his reign as manager in 2009. The move has drawn criticism from supporters and Kinnear has heightened the controversy with an interview on Talksport in which he claimed to be "more intelligent" than his critics, while calling Yohan Cabaye "Yohan Kebab". In 2005 Kinnear accused Nottingham Forest fans of living in a time warp after resigning as manager. Al Needham, in WSC 216, recalled the repeated blunders of his reign at the City Ground.
