THE HALF DECENT FOOTBALL MAGAZINE

3 May ~ Yeovil Town begin their League One play-off campaign tonight against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. This isn't the first time the Glovers have been in contention for a place in Championship. Back in 2006-07, only their second season in the third tier, they finished 5th and faced Nottingham Forest in the semi-finals. The odds were stacked against Yeovil after a 2-0 home defeat in the first leg but a stunning match at the City Ground ended 5-2 to the visitors after extra time. They went on to lose 2-0 to Blackpool in the final at Wembley.
