"Phoenix" club in financial trouble

icon brokenball2 May ~ The past week has been fairly traumatic for Aldershot Town. Last weekend a 2-0 defeat at Rotherham United confirmed their relegation to the Conference, having finished bottom of the Football League. However, now their hopes of an immediate return have been dented by the news that the club has entered administration. Aldershot Town have only existed since 1992, when they rose as a "phoenix" club from Aldershot FC, who went bankrupt in March of that year. The Football Pink details how the club have got themselves back into this position.
