The Football Supporters' Federation has now organised a protest march prior to the game at the John Smith's Stadium, which has received support via an official statement from the promotion-chasing team. They aim to highlight that "football is a spectator sport that is made complete by the presence of fans. The origins of the episode were discussed in a WSC Daily article on February 20.
