Conspiracy accusations

19 March ~ Sunday's Russian Premier League fixture between Terek Grozny and Rubin Kazan was interrupted by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov grabbing an announcer's microphone to shout "The referee's been bought off. In WSC 208 (June 2004), just prior to the club winning the Russian First Division and Russian Cup in the same season, Saul Pope explained the club's hopes of reaching the top flight and for home games to be allowed to be played in the region.
