8 February ~ Nigeria face Burkina Faso in the final of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday. It's Burkina Faso's first appearance in the final but Nigeria have won the competition twice. Having finished third in 1976 and again in 1978, Nigeria claimed their first title in 1980 and did so on home soil. They swept Algeria aside in the final, winning 3-0 in front of 85,000 people at the Surulere Stadium in Lagos.
