BBC World Service documentary

icon tv124 January ~ The Africa Cup of Nations is now well underway, with some of the continent's biggest stars coming together in South Africa. A recent BBC World Service documentary called Pity The Poor Soccer Stars examined how many young African football proteges handled their sudden wealth, looking at exploitation and the neglect by major foreign clubs to give adequate advice and support to their young players. The show is one of many BBC football documentaries flagged up by In Bed With Maradona, which also includes Bulgaria's Deadly Game, presented by WSC contributor Margot Dunne.
