The UCD Bowl is home to University College Dublin AFC, in the League of Ireland Premier Division. The ground was redeveloped in 2007 after the decision was made to move the football team from their old home in Belfield Park. With around 1,500 seats, the stadium currently has a capacity of 3,000 with plans to add another 3,000 seats eventually.
