Bonchuk600Bonchuk Stadium is the 16,000-capacity home of PFC Marek Dupnista, who currently play in Bulgaria’s top division. Marek won the Bulgarian Cup in 1978 and, in the same year, beat Bayern Munich 2-0 at home in the UEFA Cup second round – though they lost the tie 3-2 on aggregate. The town of Dupnista is at the foot of the Rila mountain, the highest in the Balkan Peninsula.
