THE HALF DECENT FOOTBALL MAGAZINE

Braga600The Estádio Municipal de Braga, also known as AXA Stadium, is one of the most innovative grounds in the world. Home to Portuguese side Sporting Braga, the 30,286 capacity is split in just two stands running along both sides of the pitch. One of the ends is an open view over the city while behind the other goal there are rock walls, which is why the stadium is also known as A Pedreira (The Quarry).
