Celebrating the art of Tim Bradford

WSC illustrator interviewed

icon TimWSC illustrator Tim Bradford has been discussing his art with Cesar Diaz of the US Soccer Players blog. Tim began working for WSC in 1990 and has provided artwork for most magazines since. He says of his work: "I am what is generally known as a new wave pop folk artist. Usually I work by sitting at a desk with my head in my hands staring at the wall for several weeks, before jumping up and doing a painting in a few minutes. After which I kiss it lovingly – though only when it's dry." Tim is also known for his animation, and recently compiled a series of match reports on Euro 2012. Tim's art is available to buy on the WSC shop.

I posted something a while ago about Tim's art in the forum. About the ones linked to in the banner at the top. I said I don't get it.
I'm sure Tim, if he happened to read it didn't give a flying fuck, which he righfully shouldn't. I suck at art.

Not enough good things can be said about Tim's Euro match report animations. The song about Mr Roy and Gary Neville is stuck in my head permanently. It's more catchy than "Call me Maybe."

They're pulsating and vibrant.

Agree with Reed 100%.
