iconjapanball28 July ~ Goal-line technology could be introduced in the Premier League in the 2012-13 season after FIFA approved the Hawk-Eye and GoalRef systems but doubts remain. In May this year Mark Sanderson attended a test of the technology at the Senior Hampshire Cup final at Southampton's St Mary's stadium. James de Mellow believes football is best left untouched by technology while Barney Ronay suggested that the sport wouldn't exist if it didn't stray from perfection. Rob Freeman was worried that the process is only as infallible as the human that creates it and a WSC editorial was concerned about power going to broadcasters.
