30 May ~ The two national supporters' organisations – the Football Supporters' Federation and Supporters Direct – have joined forces for their annual fans' weekend on July 7. The events offer fans an opportunity to voice their opinions on ticket prices, kick-off times, safe standing, dodgy owners and whatever other issues they want the organisations to work on next season. The weekend features a talk by Gabriele Marcotti on Financial Fair Play, an footballwriting awards show and two matches at Enfield Town's Queen Elizabeth Stadium.


Saturday July 7 - 9.30am-6.30pm
Keynote speech from Gabriele Marcotti on Financial Fair Play, plus eight workshops lead by a variety of speakers, including Jonathan Wilson and Ian King. The FSF and SD annual general meetings will also go ahead.

Saturday July 7 - 7.30pm
The FSF’s Football Writers Awards will see the return of our comedy panel and awards show, featuring Kevin Day, Barry Glendenning, Perry Groves and Leroy Rosenior. The best of both professional and fan journalism will be honoured

Sunday July 8
The SD Shield will be competed for between Fisher FC and Lewes FC, while the SD Cup will see Enfield Town FC take on Wrexham FC, with both matches being played at Enfield Town’s Queen Elizabeth Stadium. Tickets will be available on the day from Enfield Town FC.
