3 February ~ It's a potentially calamitous week in the 125-year history of Plymouth Argyle. The Pilgrims must produce £500,000 for HM Revenue & Customs by February 9 just to stay in existence, and the Plymouth Argyle Supporters' Trust has been set up to try and ensure the continuation of the club beyond that date. I have a great deal of sympathy for the fans of Plymouth Argyle and hope it turns out okay. At the same time this again highlights the problems of football finance and also fans expectations, as I explain at the link below:
