28 October ~ The only known remaining FA Cup winners' medal from the very first final in 1872, when Wanderers beat the Royal Engineers, is up for auction on Monday November 8 at Sotheby's. Wanderers are calling upon every football fan to dig deep and save this 138-year-old memento from falling into the hands of a private collector. A target of £50,000 has been set to purchase the medal and then share ownership between the club and the National Football Museum. For more information and to donate visit the campaign here
