Photo of the week ~ Ninian Park, Cardiff City’s former home

Cardiff Ninian Park

Ninian Park was opened in 1910 and was home to Cardiff City from then until 2009, when they moved to the new Cardiff City Stadium. Cardiff’s record attendance at the ground was 57,893 against Arsenal in 1953, though 62,634 people did pack in there to watch Wales play England in 1959.
