The Athletic Ground was home to Scarborough between 1898 and 2007. It had a capacity of 6,408, though the record attendance was 11,130 – set in an FA Cup third-round tie against Luton in 1937-38. The stadium as demolished in 2011, though the gates and entrance to the ground remain as the entrance to a sports village.
