Some things from the weekend ~ 08-10-12

Some appalling refereeing in Serie A this weekend. Most of all in the Milan derby, in Juventus's win at Siena, in Chievo v Sampdoria and in Roma's first home win of the season v Atalanta. How Juve's Giorgio Chiellini stayed on the pitch for 90 minutes cannot be explained logically, and makes you wonder if they are starting to wield their malign influence again.
