This is at the Dover Patrol monument at St Margarets-at-Cliffe.
It's actually a nice spot so the national trust must have trousered a substantial sum to utterly ruin it like that.
There's a history of stupid PR stunts being staged there; at a previous World Cup the sun had an idea to drape a massive st George cross flag over the cliffes & approached an employee who was from the area. They trundled up to the edge with this massive flag in the back of a lorry but it was too heavy & cumbersome to make it work, thank fuck. It would have dragged the lot of them over the edge or scooped them up & blown away.
It's also where they filmed a blackcurrant tango ad in the 90's, right on the cliffe.
