Mrs 1Foot and I are heading to Europe this coming Wednesday for a 5 week holiday. We'll be touring Italy (Rome, Tuscany, Venice, Milan) and France (Riviera, Provence, Rhone Valley, Paris) with a quick detour into Belgium (Ghent) for a family wedding.

Does anyone know where I can find information on town/city squares where the Euros will be shown on a big screen? I'd like to attend at least one such game in which my host country is taking part (maybe more if I can get enough romance brownie points with the wife prior).

Have you tried tripadvisor forums for the individual cities?

But if Holland are still in it by the time you get to Gent you might want to drive up to Terneuzen (very close by) in the Netherlands and watch a Dutch match there for the atmosphere. Might not be on a huge screen but all the pubs will surely by showing it.

Edit: As a disclaimer I must add that I have no idea what kind of town Terneuzen is.
