Yes, that was an incredible fight.

Pacquiao to retire now surely?

That repulsive wanker Mayweather will suddenly decide he wants to fight Pacquiao now.

That was some punch. I've not seen anyone fall flat on their face after a knock out blow.

Apparently the stumbling block in the hugh chunk of the purse Mayweather wants which Pacquiao will never give him.

Is "the punch" online anywhere? Was busy and couldn't see the fight last night but have heard a lot about it today.

Answering my own question;

Holy Fuck! . You really need the third or fourth angle to appreciate it, from behind Marquez.

The Mayweather-Pac fight should have happened 2-3 years ago if it was gonna happen at all. Back to back defeats for Pacquiao now, time to call it a day methinks.

Harry's link has been removed now, but you can see it (for now, at least) here.

Saw the headline this morning - as not much of a current boxing fan I was surprised to find that it was his 5th loss. I thought maybe his first of second. Then I was more surprised that the victor, Marquez, was 39 years old!

It's funny but from most angles the punch looks like a forearm smash until you see it from above or behind. It's so quick and from such a short distance it's hard to take in.

It reminds me of being at Cardiff Arms Park to see Stevie Robinson lose his WBO Featherweight title to Prince Nassem Hamed. The punch that finished it was so quick the entire home crowd (and later we found out, the Sky commentator) just thought Robinson had slipped and there was nearly a riot when it was stopped.

It was only seeing replays of the shot through pub windows on the way back through town that we realised it was a magnificent punch.
