During or immediately prior to the Oval Test.

Ms. ursus may have bunkered off to Milan or the Cote d'Azur, but we'll be there.

Big breakthrough, Chanderpaul gone. England should be looking to skittle the Windies for well under 200.

Sounds like there's been two good uses of the reviews.

I love cricket days when the boss is off.
And I also love Sky Go.

WI 154-6 at tea on as good batting conditions as you are likely to see at TB.

Tickets for tomorrow on top deck of Radcliffe Road End - last weekend was looking for jumpers and waterproofs, now having to dig out the sun block - excellent!

I can't help wondering what sort of team WI would have have with the IPL gang - Gayle, Pollard, Dwayne Smith, Russell, Dwayne Bravo. It's truly a great shame what has happened to West Indies test cricket.

Vicariousz Thrillseeker - certainly agree that its a shame, but Gayle and Pollard as good as they are in ODI's of different sorts don't seem to have the will or inclination to play in the 5 day game. Real shame about Dwayne Bravo though, as the recall to the squad of the extremely limited Tino Best just shows how thin the team is nowadays.

With so few options, you would think that the selectors would at least attempt to talk with Ramnaresh Sarwan and/or Jerome Taylor

Agree with NMRFox, have a good 'un tomorrow. I'm looking forward to listening in a darkened room.

What a bastard of a partnership between the Sammys, the highlights are on Channel 5 now.

The partnership has finally been broken. Sammy's the man out. Pleased he got his maiden test century but also very pleased we've made the breakthrough.

Now bresnan's got Samuels out too. Great catch by Anderson. He hasn't looked fully fit this morning when bowling but he took the catch really well.

Swann's just missed an easy catch in the slips.

So, fourteen wickets today and no-one cares?

It was all downhill after the first session from my perspective.

I do care, it's just I'm running out of ways to say "I love Test cricket".

It has been a massively more interesting series than I expected, and has actually given me some hope for this Windies team, while at the same time further heightening our anticipation for the England series with South Africa.

The West Indies' higher order batsmen have been failing miserably this series, haven't they? I assume that's why Chanderpaul was moved up from 5 to 4 for the second innings. Hasn't worked though - he got 11 today.

Chanderpaul batted at four because Kirk Edwards was off the pitch most of the day with the flu.

Among many factors in England's transition into a very good side over the years has been the new found resilience in the tail.

That partnershp between Bresnan and Broad changed the mood of the game completely - far nmore than 50 or so runs should have done.

Can't see Bairstow being the man to survive long against Steynes and co. It really is England's only weakness, being apparently unable to find a solid option at number six.

It would help a great deal if Windies had someone who could bat with Samuels.

England need 108 to win.

England's tactic seems to be "We'll get all these in no-balls."

I feel a bit sorry for WI. They ran Australia close a couple of months ago and have now pushed England harder than most were expecting. The openers are not setting a platform for the middle order to perform - would Trott or KP be as effective if they were always coming in with the ball only a few overs old - and they seem to have one ordinary session per day which has allowed the opposition to get into a winning position.

Am also hugely disappointed that the test series against SA is only 3 tests. Why? The two best test teams in the world will sell out 4 venues easily and yet we seem to want to stuff up the calendar with more and more ODI's.

Quite. SA should be a 5 test series, I reckon.
Instead, 10 days of ODIs. Yawn.
