The Kings Twitter feed continues to be entertaining. They had these last night:

D-E-V-I-L-S chant gets goin @ Prudential Center

Lots of "Post-Grunge" being played @PruCenter if you're into that sort of thing.

You snarky detached post-modern Angelenos, you.

Will be in the mountains until Sunday night, so should the Devs lose again I won't be posting anyway.

Okay. Seems like a very long time between games to me.

Another crazed game in OT. Great goaltending by both Brodeur and Quick.

Devils are outshooting the Kings and pouring it on about 1/2 way thru OT.

Road freakin' warriors.

2-1 Kings in OT. Jeff Carter w/ a superb hustle goal at 13:42. Kings ended up outshooting Devils 11-3 in OT. I'm losing count, how many road wins is this?

10.

I still can't really believe that the Kings are 2 wins away from winning it. Part of me thinks that there's still some way that they'll figure out how to blow it.

It's possible but unlikely. This year, possibly more than any other, has shown how arbitrary the NHL has allowed the winning of the Stanley Cup to become. That's not to take anything away from the KIngs, they have been the best team at the 84–100 game point of the season, which is really what winning the jug amounts to now.

Look at the bright side, AdC, the Nucks have the 2nd best team for 2 years running.

These Kings are like the Kings from Queens, from Queens come Kings, raising hell like a bell when the lunchbell rings. The Kings will be praised, and hell will be raised. They're the Kings of Rock, there is none higher.

They're cutting the head off the Devil and throwing it at you.

Damn, so THIS is what it's like to get swept like the Flyers.

Wow. Still can't really believe what I just saw.

You know me and the Lakers--I've watched just about every Lakers playoff game since they've been in Staples Center, and plenty of regular season games. And I'll say that I can only remember about 2 or 3 moments where Staples Center was as loud as it was for the last two minutes of that game.

I know a few Kings fans who have followed the team for years--yes, real fans do exist. I'm happiest for them right now. I talked to one guy who already told his boss--as soon as there's any announcement of a parade/celebration, don't expect to see me at work that day.

Habs go for Therrien as coach and destroy my "they're getting smarter" theory in a single stroke.

Condolences to Flynnie.

0-0 in the 3rd. This is some turgid stuff.

1-0 Devs. Elias being the only one playing all series.

(Saved Marty's ass, too, after that goofy puck-handling almost erased 20 years of cup-wins and shutouts...imagine if that was his final memory.)

1-1. Kings tie is seconds later after a horseshit penalty.

Much better 3rd. It's like the Cup is on the line or sumpin'

2-1 Devs. Henrique.

Let's take this shit back to Brick City.

3-1 Devs. Kovalchuk into the LA empty head, sorry, empty net.

TO THA BRICKS

I blame my friend, who managed to score a ticket. She messed up the whole vibe.

Still, Kings have a chance to stay perfect on the road.

Save the engraving. Kings get a chance on the road. Sweat at least one more out JV.

$10 Vodka. $4 Trader Joe's Porto.

That's what I was sweating. Who knows what it'll be on Saturday night.
