Whilst bowing to Cash's Hurt I vote this an honourable silver.

I'll be damned. One of my favorite songs and never knew there was a video for it. Nice one.

Blimey!

(If you don't already know, take a wild guess as to who wrote the song.)

She really hated him for that, you know. Understandable in itself, but she actually said that she could never trust men again after Serge revealed our true, filthy, exploitative nature. Seems excessive to me, but I'm sure he would have considered it a result.

Wrong thread, I know, but this is my favourite worst Serge vid.

Another couple of original Lego videos (as opposed to just 'cover versions').

My favourite: 'Brick It' by Printed Circuit.

...and another good one: '8-bit Trip' by Rymdrelage.

The White Stripes one that SR mentions is brilliant too, though.

When I saw this post I thought you meant things like Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' in Lego, which was clearly done by someone with far, far too much time on their hands, but is no less brilliant for that.

i always feel Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat deserves a wee mention when it comes to great videos.

I also like Kiss by Prince simply because the manages to look cool while looking utterly ridiculous at the same time.

No 'True Faith', by New Order then?

Always thought it was 'the bollocks'.

No love for these claymation felines?

If cats ever did indulge in such recreational pastimes then I should imagine the jazz club would be a prefered haunt.

To be honest this could be said of pretty much everything he did from Dirty Mind up to around Diamonds and Pearls.

I will nominate two:

Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights Kate prances around in a field in a red dress. Very simple and brilliantly captures her eccentricity and has inspired many drunken dances at parties where the song is played.

Big Country - In a Big Country. Because they consult a chart with the times of high and low tides to determine when to go scuba diving. You can tell this video was made at the height of the McGyver rage.

Ah yes, France Gall videos. I absolutely pissed myself the first time I saw the video for J'ai retrouvé mon chien . Unfortunately it's not on YouTube any longer.

But, thankfully, it's on another website

Jesus what were they on when they thought up that video.

Not really a pop video per se, but someone did a video of cats banging away on instruments attatched to Elbow's cover of 'Independent Women'.

It's wrong, but highly amusing at the same time.

Not the first comic book video, but I love Madvillain's "All Caps".

Not a fan of Kate Bush musically, but as 17 year old I was impressed by this!

A late entry, considering I didn't know it even had a video. Cerrone himself appears to be a handsome chap (1:47 and onwards)
