That's an LL Bean rocking chair, which Kennedy took from his home to the Oval Office because it helped his bad back.

I learned that from the LL Bean catalogue, which I used to get for some reason, but stopped getting because I never bought anything.

At the time, it was £200 cheaper to buy this - original, teak, Danish - and have it shipped from Germany to the UK than it was get the not-so-nice knock off version from Habitat. No wonder they went bust.
