TOPIC: Rogin's occasional League Cup Final quiz

posted 20-02-2013 19:25
This would have been longer but I've been busy.

1. On which ground was the first ever League Cup Final game played?

2. Which two clubs now contest the "Friendship Trophy" each time they meet, a tradition that started after they met in a League Cup Final that followed semi-finals that were both marred by hooliganism?

3. What distinction is shared by the losing League Cup finalists of 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1994?

4. What was the venue of the last replayed League Cup final in 1997?

5. Nine clubs claim the League Cup as their only "major" trophy in English football (ie have won League Cup but never League or FA Cup) - who are they?
