We have had Liverpool and West Brom so here is number three.

Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-yueng is set to join for 6 million to add to Michu, Chico, Kyle Bartley and Jamie Proctor, on loan are Jonathan de Guzman and Itay Shechter.

Scott Sinclair out to be replaced by Pablo Hernandez seems to be likely.

5-0 away to QPR is some start but can this run continue or am I really getting carried away?

29th August 1981, a 5-1 win.

Ki is a moderately skilled lightweight and I'm amazed that Celtic could get £6 million for him.

Asian in red kit premium, innit?

Genuinely can't see any problem for the Jacks. Properly run club. Would love to have seen Sinclair stay but the Team GB hype seems to have done for him. Laudrup seems to want to play in a similar fashion to Martinez and Rodgers. I wish Bellamy had gone to them instead.

I think that LIverpool are more likely to go down than the Jacks. Indeed, I was telling my Villa and Stoke supporting mates that the presence of Liverpool and, perhaps, Arsenal means that a lot of clubs can breath easy this season

You think Liverpool and Arsenal are at significant risk of relegation?! Moreso than Stoke and Villa?!

IT was tongue in cheek. I was trying to cheer them up. Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Liverpool went down and those two didn't

Alan Curtis has admitted that Sinclair is going to Man City. Enjoy the early rounds of the Carling Cup, Scott.

Indeed. After his Chelsea experience, you would have thought he would have been more cautious about such clubs

What's that with Asians and red color? Is it supposed to be lucky? I once got talking to an english teacher (he was american though) who said he once wrote some Thai or Vietnamese girl's name on a blackboard in red and she was crying cause it meant he wished her death or something....

yeah in China red is a lucky colour but you must never write someone's name in red for the same reason.

So it was probably Vietnamese rather than Thai

Figurs of between 5 and 10 million mentioned, not bad for a player out of contract at the end of the season.

Will he become another player who leaves the Swans to go to nothing?

At least he is leaving with the club's best wishes so the door is open for Leon Brittonesque return.

I am not up on the EPL at the moment. How many players is he up against in that position at Man City presently? Johnson and Milner are the ones that spring to mind and he is arguably as good if not better than both. The problem, for me, is when Mancini uses some of his 1500 strikers in midfield

Johnson is being shipped out for 10 million as he wants regular football. Not sure of any others.

Yes, just read that. Does Sinclair really think he is going to be treated that much better? Personally, I think he is better than Johnson but it isn't really about that.

He might have been missing the money.

I imagine Sinclair is mainly thinking about trebling his wages (or maybe more) and getting in the England squad.

He really wasn't outstanding last season and hasn't looked pivotal to the Jacks since the first half of his first season in D2 for them. Dyer was a more important part of their play.

Johnson is a great player, 6 goals and 6 assists last season despite only starting 11 games.

Bloody hell, I have become roughly akin to an England manager in underestimating a player as I haven't seen him on TV much.

Also, it has to be said that Sinclair probably wants to move nearer to his girlfriend.

He was being talked about for the England squad while at the Swans and made the Olympic squad while there, to be fair he could have played a season and left on a free but has not done that hence the best wishes from the club.

If Pablo Hernandez does replace him then it will be a good move for Swansea.

How much are Chelsea going to make from sell ons?
